June is Late Model month at the OffRoad Speedway. June 4th saw the Malvern Bank SLMR series come to Norfolk with Jake Neal taking home the top prize. We go back to regular Race nights for the next 2 weeks. The point standings in the Late Model class, has the top 10 separated by 44 points and with the talent we have here, things could change rapidly.
June 24th and June 25th the Late Models of the Lucas Oil MLRA series will be here for a big 2 night show. Johnny and Stormy Scott, Chad and Chris Simpson along with Tony Jackson are among the MLRA drivers that are expected to attend.
The Renegade Stores weekend will kick off on Friday (June 24th) with a $3000 to win Feature sponsored by Bauer Underground and Remax. Saturday (June 25th) will be the big $5000 to win A-Feature of the Renegade 50 for the Lucas Oil Late Models. Hobby Stocks, Stock Cars and Sport Mods are also on tap and if the early part of the season is any indication, fans attending will not be disappointed.
Tickets for the Renegade weekend are on sale at the Renegade Stores in the Sunset Plaza.
Sport Mod Drivers! The purse for the next 3 weeks has been changed. A sponsor has pledged an extra $300 to the winner. It will be $600 to win the Sport Mod class for the next two Regular Season races and culminating with the Renegade 50 night on June 25th.
