July 27th race night will be the start of the stretch run of OffRoad Speedway's 2024 schedule. This will be a regular race night with all 5 of OffRoad's classes running. There are some close races in the standings and barring a rainout, Late Models have 4 nights of point racing left. The other 4 classes have 5 nights left. Coming up next at the OffRoad Speedway is the Independence Day Special. In the track's 10 year existence, there has been several opportunities to have this race as part of the 4th of July Holiday and this year is one of them. Wednesday, July 3rd will be the date and it promises to be an exciting night of IMCA racing. The United States Modified Touring Series will be at the OffRoad Speedway Tuesday Night, June 18th. This will be the 1st trip to Norfolk by the most powerful Modifieds in the country as they make 2 stops in Nebraska and finishing up the week at 81 Speedway in Park City Kansas. Jake Timm(Winona Mn) leads the USMTS standings with 1 win and 11 top tens, followed by Jim Chisolm(Osage Iowa) with 4 wins and 7 top tens. May 25th will be a Regular Night of Racing. All 5 classes will be back in action. Looking forward to the next month or so, the OffRoad Speedway will have a lot going on. On June 1st, the Malvern Bank Super Late Models West Series will be in Norfolk for their first appearance of two scheduled events. Norfolk Driver Tad Pospisil has the early points lead after taking the win in the SLMR West season opener in Warrensburg Missouri last Saturday. Dateline-May 11th: The OffRoad Speedway will finally get the Race for the 2024 Track Championships under way. Track Champions will be crowned in 4 IMCA classes at the Lynn Langenberg Memorial in late August. Late Models, Hobby Stocks, Sport Mods and Stock Cars. The 2024 Race Season has arrived. The OffRoad Speedway will start off the Dirt Crown series on Saturday, April 13th. We will provide practice on Friday, April 12th for those racing on Saturday Night at the OffRoad Speedway. Practice will run from 6pm to 9pm. Pit Passes will be $20 and Grandstand admission will be $5. All concessions will be available. Saturday, for the OffRoad Speedway Crown Challenge, pits will open at 2pm and Hot Laps at 5:30. The 2024 OffRoad Speedway schedule promises to be another great year. Highlighting the schedule will be the United States Modified Touring Series on Tuesday, June 18th. This event on our calendar follows up on the national events of the last 2 years with the Lucas Oil, World of Outlaws and XR Racing series. The 2023 Lynn Langenberg Memorial is shaping up to be a good one. As been tradition, this Saturday will also be Championship Night. Although the points leaders in each division have been decided, (Late Models excluded) there will be comers and goers in points positions. (Norfolk, NE) -- Ricky Thornton Jr. earned the $100,000 top prize for winning the XR Super Series Elkhorn 100 Tuesday night at Off Road Speedway. Thornton, who started fourth, battles Daulton Wilson during the first half of the 100-lap run before losing the lead to Bobby Pierce.
