A note from the Promoter

We are nearing the end of the 2022 race season. This Saturday will be a Regular Race night with Late Models, Hobby Stocks, Sport Mods and Stock Cars. Next Saturday, Aug 27th the OffRoad Speedway season long points races will be decided. The “Lynn Langenberg Memorial featuring 360 Sprints on Championship Night” is set up to be a night no one will want to miss.
First- the MSTS 360 Sprints will be at the OffRoad Speedway for the 2nd time this year. This will be a $2000 to win and $400 to start if 24 Cars start the A-Feature. The Midwest Touring Sprint Series is looking to bring that many cars to Norfolk. So this Special promises to not disappoint.
Second- Championship Night. The points races in some classes have some distance between 1st and 2nd place, but anything could happen between now and the final checkers. The Hobby Stock points race is a different story with Wyatt Lehman leading Nate Buck, Jason Wilkinson and Lance Mielke by 3,4 and 14 points respectfully. Right behind them is Mark Arduser and Tanner Uehling, 21 and 25 points back. This is shaping up to be quite a finish. Note-these races will not be Draw/Redraw.
Third- the Lynn Langenberg Memorial. Once again, the Langenberg Family has put together a night that puts both fans and drivers first.
Allied Securities Insurance(Ryan Cooper) will be adding to the winners payout in each class.
The purse will also be enhanced thanks to… Helena, D&J Machine(Dale Bittner), Hank Langenberg, Chuck Langenberg, Doug Renner, Jaeger Seeds(Dave & Joni Jaeger), Todd Vollbrecht, Don Lau, Dinkel’s, Primrose Trailer Rentals, Pettitt Plumbing, RedStar Fertilizer of Leigh.
Late Models will be $800 to win with $110 to start.
Stock Cars will be $750 to win with $100 to start.
Sport mods will be $1000 to win with $100 to start.
Hobby Stocks will be $500 to win with $100 to Start.
Contingent on full fields in all classes.
Along with the added purse, thanks to Tom’s Service of Pierce, will be fuel vouchers of $100 and $50 to selected finishes in each of the IMCA A-Features.
“Mystery Money” will be abundant. 1300 dollars worth, thanks to Heartland Nutrition(Heath Clausen) and Langenberg Farms(Jon & Vicki Langenberg)
As in past Lynn Langenberg Memorials, fans will be going home with a little extra cash… A total $1100. Thanks to Guaranteed Rate Home Loans(Mike Brudigan) and Deb Langenberg.
There will be more details put out as we get closer to Aug 27th and the “Lynn Langenberg Memorial featuring 360 Sprints on Championship Night”
Looking ahead to the last race night and Special of 2022, the Bob Haase Memorial. Lots of exciting things to look forward to for Sept 3rd. I will get out more info as we get closer but I would like to let the drivers know this will be a Draw/ Redraw for IMCA Late Models, IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Hobby Stocks and IMCA Stock Cars. Also, thanks to Cory Dumpert Racing and Maertins Trucking, it will be $1000 to win the Late Model A-Feature.
Keep an eye out for more info on the OffRoad Speedway’s facebook page and offroadspeedway.com
Respectfully, Jerry Pospisil
