Tim Estenson notched his first ever win with the Gunderson Racing Midwest Sprint Touring Series Saturday night. The Fargo, North Dakota, native topped a strong field that was co-sanctioned with the Malvern Bank 360 Sprint Series at the Off Road Speedway in Norfolk, Nebraska.

Estenson started seventh on the field in his Mission Foods #14T and immediately began picking up positions. However, it was in lap traffic that the Jack Dover wrenched car really came to life. However, it was a dramatic last corner pass that sealed the victory for Estenson who had claimed his first ever sprint car victory just recently.

Cody Ledger was second at the finish line with Jason Marin completing the podium. Don Droud Jr. was fourth with Stu Snyder completing the top five.

Dillon Bickett picked up a $100 bonus as the Cressman Sanitation hard charger. Brant O’Banion was awarded the $100 A-Plus Towing Hard Luck Award after his engine expired.

The MSTS sprints are back in action May 26 at the Jackson Motorplex before invading Rapid Speedway and I-90 Speedway on June 9-10.
