    A Note From the Promoter

Less than 2 weeks until the start of the 2025 racing season at the OffRoad Speedway. There are many items to cover. Driver's, get registered by going to the OffRoad Speedway Facebook page and use the link provided.

Weather in April is always a crapshoot so the season will start with practice on Friday, April 4th. This will be open to all classes and cars. The cost is $20 per car and driver and 15 for anyone wanting to get in the pits. Grandstand is absolutely free. Concessions will be available. April 5th will be the Stock Car Dirt Crown Summer Series along with the 305 RaceSaver Sprint Cars.

If practice on April 4th is not rained out...that will mean the Season Opener at OffRoad will be on April 12th. If the practice session on the 4th is rained out then April 12 will be practice night and the season opener will be April 19th.

The 2025 season will see 6 classes of cars. Crown Vics that have been running at Boone County and US 30 have requested the class be added to the OffRoad Speedway. As of now we are planning on the Crown Vics to be a points class with a season championship to be awarded at the end of the year. Late Models, Hobby Stocks, Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and Pro Stock 4s will be the regular classes along with the Crown Vics.

Looking ahead, April 26th will be the first night of Specials with the SLMR series arriving for their first of 2 appearances this year at Norfolk.

Sprint Cars in 2025 will be quite different. Along with the 305s mentioned before, the Malvern Bank 360 Sprint Cars will be here on May 10th for the only time in 2025. The 410 Sprint Cars will be at the OffRoad Speedway for the first time ever as part of the Lynn Langenberg Memorial on August 23rd.

Before talking about the rest of the season it needs to be mentioned the days off planned for the OffRoad Speedway. In the past we have had open dates for fans and drivers to make it to other tracks on Saturday Nights. May 17 will be the first open date for the Lucas Oil Late Models at Eagle Raceway. The next ones that are possible open dates will be July 12th (Madison County Fair) and July 19th (Silver Dollar Nationals. These dates are on the schedule but may be taken off. This is due to the possibility of a lot rain outs early in the season and if everything goes good it will be announced probably mid June if those dates will be taken off the schedule.

June 18th will be a Midweek Special with the USMTS Modifieds making their first ever appearance at OffRoad.Sport Mods and GOTRA will rounx out the show.
July 4th will see the OffRoad Speedway taking part of Norfolk's annual Big Bang Boom weekend. Friday, July 4th will be the Independence Special featuring the Ray Haase Tribute Race as part of the Late Model Titan Series. The Dirt Crown Hobby Stocks will be running along with the other regular classes.

August will be a busy month with the Bob Haase Memorial with the SLMR series(no IMCA Late Models) with Midwest Classic Stock Cars and the Lynn Langenberg Memorial featuring the 410 Sprint Cars on the 2nd and 23rd respectively.

The annual Bike and Bookbag giveaway and kids night with rides in Race Cars will be announced on the schedule.

The deck above the men's room has been reserved for May 24, May 31, June 18, July 4th and Aug 23rd. Anyone wanting to grab one of the open dates get ahold of Brian or Kevin.

If anyone wants to be a Trophy Sponsor or a sponsor of the July 4th Fireworks please let us know.

The Northeast Nebraska MotorSports Hall of Fame car show will be at the Warhorse Event Center in Norfolk on March 29, so don't miss that.
