As we get into Summer, there is some schedule news to take care of. This weekend June 28th, will be a regular night of racing with our 6 regular classes. The next special night will be Friday night, July 4th. As part of Norfolk's Big Bang Boom weekend, we are happy to have racing on Friday Night with Fireworks to follow. And as usual it is family friendly with $15 admission, $10 for those 10 to 15 years old and for those 9 and under free. It is also a regular night of racing with Late Models, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Sport Mods, Pro Stock 4 and Crown Vics. We will also be honoring Hall of Famer Ray Haasse prior to the Late Model A-Feature.
The July 12th race on the schedule we will be dropping. It is the Madison County Fair and Hairball will be at the Madison Fair Grounds that night.
We have decided the July 19th date will run as scheduled.
July 26th will be Bike and Bookbag giveaway nigh with regular night of racing.
Aug 2nd will be the Bob Haase Memorial featuring SLMR. Hobbys, Stock Cars, Sport Mods Pro Stock 4s, Crown Vics and Midwest Stock Cars will be coming back to the OffRoad Speedway.
Aug 9th will be Kids Night with kids getting race car rides at intermission with regular night of racing.
Aug 16 will be a regular night of racing
Aug 23 is the Lynn Langenberg Memorial with 410 Sprint Cars coming to Norfolk for the 1st time. That night will be Championship night for the Hobby Stocks due to the special on Aug 30th.
Aug 30 will be Fan Appreciation on Championship night for Late Models, Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Pro Stock 4s and Crown Vics. Hobby Stocks will be participating in the Wyatt Frisch Memorial Hobby Stock Race. $2000 to win with draw/redraw format with 2 provisionals. 30 lap Feature. More info coming on the Memorial race. The cost for the fans will be free admission along with a canned good for the Norfolk Community Food Pantry. More information on the Aug 30th night as we get closer.
