April 24th--The Late Model Clash at the OffRoad Speedway. The local IMCA Late Model class will not be racing for points. There will be a mix of local IMCA racers going up against the Tri-State Late Model guys. And I hear there may be a few SLMR boys running for $1500 to win. The race format for for the Late Models will be announced later this week. No Draw/Redraw for the other classes as was stated before. The OffRoad Speedway will have Mini Sprint cars racing on May 15th. These cars are smaller than the regular Sprint Cars. They are running a stock 600cc motorcycle engine and weigh just 750lbs with the driver. Saturday night these cars will be using a wing but they can run without. George Murdock's #3 NAPA Auto Parts machine will be at Renner AutoBody on East Omaha on Thursday and a couple will of them will be at the entrance to the Grandstand Saturday night so they can be seen up close.
