The last 7 nights of OffRoad Speedway's race season promises to an exciting and busy one. Starting with Double Feature Night on July 19th. The plan for Double Feature Night is to move everything up 1 hour from the usual scheduled times with Hot Laps starting at 5:15 and the Make-up Features from July 4th will run at 6:00. The next special night will be Friday night, July 4th. As part of Norfolk's Big Bang Boom weekend, we are happy to have racing on Friday Night with Fireworks to follow. Stuart Snyder started on the pole of Saturday’s $2,000 to win event at the Off Road Speedway. He ended the event in The Energy Drink Victory Lane, but there was plenty of action and passes for the lead between the start and end. All races in Norfolk tonight are cancelled. The April 26th SLMR Special at the OffRoad Speedway has been cancelled due to weather. Tonight we go into the 2nd night of racing (April 19th) with the full OffRoad Speedway points racing schedule of Late Models, Hobby Stocks, Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Pro Stock 4s and Crown Vics. With the new year starting soon, this time would be good to remind everyone about how weather related news is put out. We have learned over the last 10 years to not jump the gun on canceling. It has come around to bite us in the rear. Races were canceled and situations changed where the weather and track turned out to be good.
