The OffRoad Speedway will have Mini Sprint cars racing on May 15th. These cars are smaller than the regular Sprint Cars. They are running a stock 600cc motorcycle engine and weigh just 750lbs with the driver. Saturday night these cars will be using a wing but they can run without. George Murdock's #3 NAPA Auto Parts machine will be at Renner AutoBody on East Omaha on Thursday and a couple will of them will be at the entrance to the Grandstand Saturday night so they can be seen up close. April 24th--The Late Model Clash at the OffRoad Speedway. The local IMCA Late Model class will not be racing for points. There will be a mix of local IMCA racers going up against the Tri-State Late Model guys. And I hear there may be a few SLMR boys running for $1500 to win. I have had a lot of input on what to do for Saturday night at the OffRoad Speedway and I appreciate them all. Unlike last week, the issue is the temperature at race time being in the 40s. It has been decided to cancel for April 17th. Springtime racing in Nebraska is always a question mark and whatever decision is made can be good for some and not so good for others.
