April 24th--The Late Model Clash at the OffRoad Speedway. The local IMCA Late Model class will not be racing for points. There will be a mix of local IMCA racers going up against the Tri-State Late Model guys. And I hear there may be a few SLMR boys running for $1500 to win. The race format for for the Late Models will be announced later this week. No Draw/Redraw for the other classes as was stated before. I have had a lot of input on what to do for Saturday night at the OffRoad Speedway and I appreciate them all. Unlike last week, the issue is the temperature at race time being in the 40s. It has been decided to cancel for April 17th. Springtime racing in Nebraska is always a question mark and whatever decision is made can be good for some and not so good for others. Tonight's racing at the OffRoad Speedway is a go. Scheduled start time is 6:15 for hot laps. We might get started a little earlier because of temps later in the evening. Trophies for tonight is sponsored by SouthSide Salvage. This year kids will be the preasenters of the A-Feature trophies. Signup each night for a chance to be drawn.

Opening Night... April 10th... at the OffRoad Speedway. One of the new things we are doing this year is the trophy presentations. Kids, 15 and under can sign up to be drawn as the Trophy Princes and Princesses. There will be a table on the upper concourse with note pads and a drop box. At intermission names will be drawn to help present the trophy to the A-Feature winners. These Princes and Princesses will then be presented a trophy of their own to take home. Practice night is tomorrow, April 3rd. A reminder for the drivers-Robyn will need your IMCA license and transponder number when you check in. She also set up a pre-registration that can be used to speed up the process. I had posted a "note from the promoter" recently and left out some things. Again, the start times for practice night scheduled for April 3rd will be moved up a little. Pit gates open at 3:00 with practice starting at 6:00. The pit pass cost will be $15 for everyone going into the pits. As I have stated previously, April weather is always a problem so we may move up the start times for the first few races. I wanted to remind everyone about this years grandstand admission prices. The race admission is up this year to $15 from $12 the last 6 years. But in our effort to be family friendly, the OffRoad Speedway admission cost for kids will be FREE. All those 15 and under will be granted free admission to the grandstand. Brian has put the 2021 IMCA rules for each class on the OffRoad Speedway website. We also have a few changes to the General Rules for 2021. It will be the driver and team responsibility to be aware of all the rules. Some of the changes has to do with restarts, lone ranger rule and number of cars in the features.
